Andrea Wolf, MD FACS – Dr. Andrea Wolf has been a respected member of the medical community in Grand Rapids since 2006. After completing surgical residency in GR in 2011 and a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery (liver, pancreas, and bile ducts) in Philadelphia in 2012, she worked at Spectrum (Corewell) Health doing General Surgery and Surgical Oncology for over a decade. While continuing this work, she completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2020 to deepen her connection with patients and expand her set of skills. During this time, Dr. Andrea Wolf was introduced to functional neurology and the manual therapies of craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and somatoemotional release. She is also training in Integrative Health which combines many Eastern medicine practices and Functional Medicine. Using these new skills on top of those provided through her traditional medical education allowed Dr. Wolf to treat a variety of conditions successfully without the need for surgery. Her passion remains in treating chronic abdominal pain while also addressing other chronic health issues that haven’t been inadequately treated by mainstream medicine.
